Singular wines represents a small number of french vignerons. Some of them make the wine against which the rest of their appellation is measured; others make the one that quietly calls that measure into question. Whether the distinction owes more to site, to vine or to the hand in the cellar matters less to us than the result: wines that are unmistakably, and irreducibly, themselves; i.e. singular.
